Vice President of New Rochelle Bar Association

Proud to report that, late this afternoon, I was sworn in for another year as Vice President of the New Rochelle Bar Association, which is observing its Centennial this year. My personal portfolio of responsibility is community education outreach.

In that capacity, I am the planner and coordinator of the Association’s law education program with the New Rochelle Boys and Girls Club for high school-age students, which will be restarting in November after some 20 months off for the plague. And we are looking forward to restarting my other program in the spring, our NY State Bar Association award-winning Lawyer In the Classroom program for every student in every 5th grade classroom throughout the New Rochelle School District. That also sadly was deferred for two seasons.

The Bar Association has one more community education outreach program of which we are justifiably proud, in partnership with the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation. Again, dependent upon public health considerations, we hope to restart those informative seminars on law topics of interest to the general public in the coming months.

And, if all goes according to current plan, at this time next year, I anticipate being sworn in as President of the New Rochelle Bar Association.

We invite every lawyer who lives or works in New Rochelle to join our organization.
